What is an Electrical Installation Condition Report?
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a thorough inspection and test of an existing electrical installation: the wiring, fuse board, sockets, switches and fittings.
It shows whether the installation is safe to keep using and highlights anything that needs attention, so you know exactly where you stand.
All our work is carried out to BS 7671 (18th Edition), and we are happy to talk you through the report and any work it recommends.
Who it's for
An EICR is worth having if you are
- Letting a property
- Buying or selling a home
- Running a business or commercial premises
- Living in an older property that hasn't been checked for a while
- Planning an extension or renovation
